A loss of one of our own / Beavers Den Leathers

We just received word, Tony Beavers, has passed away at 2:30 this afternoon. He was taken off life support this morning and went peacefully. We lost a wonderful friend and valulable member of our Post family. Please keep LeAnn and the entire family in your prayers. Cards can be sent to:

Wichita's Toys For Tots Toy Run

The Toy Run is this Sunday, line up starts at 10:30 / Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

Breakfast is being served at the VFW Post 3115 at Douglas and Anna Streets starting at 7:30 am.  That's where Roll Easy will be and we hope you will be too. 

Weather is going to be great (so say's Mark Bogner) 63 and sun!

SATURDAY

We're heading over to the Derby VFW Post today for the Troop Support Ride - I'm hearing that there are over 1000 bikes registered. 

What a great cause to ride for, if you can make it for the ride come on down, or just park along Broadway from 71st Street South - Pawnee and enjoy the rumble and see the bikes,

11th - Beaumont Breakfast Ride
15th - Bike Night at The Indian (Indian of Wichita)
17th - Troop Support Ride starting at the Derby VFW Post
18th - Cottonwood Falls Breakfast Ride
22nd - Bike Night at the Indian
25th - Elk City Breakfast Ride

November 1st is the Wichita Toy Run and we'll be having breakfast at the VFW Post 3115 with their Riders Group at 7:30 am - come on down and have breakfast then head to the Toy Run

Big day planned today with Mrs Roll Easy - scavenger hunt for our 30th and this is what the weather man has to say about it?

Mark L. Bogner windy and warm today with highs in the upper 70s, then big storms roll in tonight through tomorrow with lots of rain, some hail and lots of wind.

We've gone where no other Motorcycle Publication has been!



Here is the photo of the summit. Highest point on the Rockies. Mt. Elbert at 14,447 ft.
The winds at the summit were over 40+ mp/h. the summit is the the size of two dinning-room tables, it was very unstable to remain on foot and the banner was pushing me all the way over the cliff. So I took the photo just 8 ft below the summit were winds were half from summit.

Had a great ride today with the gang from the VFW Post 3115 Riders - Newbee's that joined us included Scott (doo-rag) and Spanky

Elk City Breakfast Ride


A Group of us (6 actually) rode to Elk City this past Sunday for breakfast, Greg took us on a tour of Elk Falls (the falls are huge) all total we did 258 miles, had a great breakfast for 5 bucks, and had a great time
