The City of Wichita wants close to $5000 to block and direct traffic for this years toy run. The question of the day is.....how important is the ride to donating our time, money and toys?

The REAL issue isn't about the city - it is about those in our community who will not have a Christmas without our help. Things evolve and change over time - that is reality. The toy run is no exception. Rally around those less fortunate in whatever way you can. Be committed! If the city is not in a financial position to support this time-honored tradition then we will just have to take a different route! (literally and figuratively)
The city has tried to get the toy run shut down for years. SO this move doesn't surprise me. I am sure the community will get together and make it right.
